Just in time for Earth Day, Bazan Group and Sonol have signed an MOU to establish a JV to build eco-friendly hydrogen-based refueling stations and pumps for heavy transportation (trucks and buses) and later for private vehicles.
With Earth Day events starting today (April 22) and continuing through the week, this news demonstrates both companies’ support for environmental protection. The theme for Earth Day 2021 is ‘Restore Our Earth,’ which focuses on natural processes, emerging green technologies, and innovative thinking that can restore the world’s ecosystems.
Bazan Group constantly works to achieve these goals through various innovative measures, such as this Sonol JV. Additionally, the company recently took part in a Hackathon to get students on board to improve the recycling ability and sustainability of plastic containers used to transport hazardous materials – a global problem in the industry.
